  • The "Register DSC" signature option appears immediately below your profile's "My bank account" option. Select the option by clicking it. To prevent the last-minute rush, download and install the emSigner application from the Government of India's official website ahead of time.


  • Another page opens when you select the option, instructing you to input your email address associated with the DSC signature token. Please provide a valid email address. Below the email address box is a window that says, "I have downloaded & installed the emSigner programme." And then check the box with a checkmark. This will indicate that you have previously downloaded the emSigner.


  • Choose the "continue" option. A dialogue window will appear, reminding you to enter your token, certificate, and password. Remember to enter the correct token, certificate, and password. It will enable you to register on a single try. And then select the "generate" option.


  • Finally, if the DSC signature registration is successful, a message box will appear informing you that "you have successfully generated your DSC." As a result, the procedure is complete. It will also show a transaction ID that you must remember, ITR 1 form.
